· Camp Theme (daily supporting themes & scriptures)
· Meet monthly prior to camp to plan and work on projects!
· Camp Kickoff- Get girls excited for camp!!! Lead Singing and present a skit about the Rules and/or Theme
· Pre-camp Certification Day- Help teach a cert. requirement.
· Assign each YCL to a ward/cabin (this is the ward they will then teach a CHE to on Thurs. night)
· Organize Secret Sisters (before and at camp)
· Make a simple gift to give each of the campers (can be given at your CHE lesson or it can be earned by singing the camp songs, etc.)
· Announcements & Lead Songs before all Activities, Flag Roll Call & Announcements, Positive Energy ALL WEEK!!
· Organize camp games & spiritual thoughts.
· YCL Leaders- you will organize transportation for all your YCLs on Monday coming to camp!!
· Mon.- Help Kitchen unload supplies, Set-up Stage & Decorate, Practice Conducting
· Mon.- Get your cabin ready!! (This is done AFTER camp is all set-up and ready to go! J)
· Tues. morning- Practice Roll Call & Announcements at Flag
· Tues. Camp Arrival- Greet girls! Help girls find their cabins! Hand out t-shirts
· Plan a “Rules” Skit- (can be the same one done at Camp Kickoff) Tues. 10:30am at Orientation
· Organize an Evening “Get to Know the 1st Yrs” Activity for Tues. p.m.
· Tues.-Fri. evening lullabies outside of each cabin at bedtime
· Teach Cabin Home Evening, Thurs. night
· Hike Day- Everyone hikes! If you are not hiking Mt. McL, you will be assigned to help with a hike!! J
· Help with Wed. night’s Stake Devotional
· Thurs. morning- Teach a certification class (Cert. Director will assign you a topic.)
· Thurs. 1pm- Plan a group Activity/Game (for the entire camp or for each separate camp year)
· Thurs. 4:30- Build Camp fires for all the wards/cabins (5th years will come relieve you when they are finished with the 11yr olds.)
· Thurs.8pm Teach Cabin Home Evening lesson
· Fri. night- help Craft Cabin get packed up
· Sat.- Secret Sister reveals, & Final Good-bye and Thank You
· Sat.- help Stk. Leaders & Kitchen get packed up & loaded. The faster this gets done, the faster we can all leave!!
