Pre-camp Certification Day- Help teach Cravat Bandages!
· Try to meet monthly prior to camp to plan and work on your projects.
· Organize Service Project & Devotional (Friday 9-11am)
· Flag Ceremony (you will assign wards a day at camp to prepare a script., song, prayer, 2nd yr for Flag)
· Make a simple gift to give each of the campers (can be given at your CHE lesson)
· YCL Leaders- you will organize transportation for all your YCLs on Mon. coming to camp!!
· Evening Campfire- please prepare the fire at the stage each night M-F. Priesthood will ignite it.
· Mon.- Prepare Ward Cabins & Priesthood Cabin
· Mon.- Get your cabin ready!! (This is done AFTER the camp is all set-up and ready to go! J)
· Tues. morning- Practice Flag Ceremony (you are in charge of the script., song, prayer this day)
· Tues. Camp Arrival- Ward sign-in (check off girls names), Camp Bibles (make sure they put their name on the front!)
· Tues. 1pm- organize "Get to know you" games for 1st-4th years
· Hike Day- Everyone hikes! If you are not hiking Mt. McL, you’ll be assigned one to help with! J
· Teach Cabin Home Evening, Tues. night
· Assign each YCL to a ward/cabin: This will be the ward they will teach a CHE to on Tues. night & this will be the cabin they will help with KP & chores.
· Thurs. 9am- Greet 11 year old girls. Teach Camp Rules. Take them to the 4th yrs for “nature walk”
· Thurs. 11am- Teach Camp Songs & Games to the 11 year old girls.
· Thurs. 12pm- Eat lunch with 11 year olds
· Thurs. 4:00- Gather the 11 year olds and help them find their rides home.
· Thurs. 4:30- Finish getting the camp fires built and started!
· Thurs. 5pm- Kitchen- go get the cooking supplies for each cabin/ward and take to their campfire.
· Fri. 9-11am- Service Project & Devotional
· Fri. night- help PP Tent get packed up and loaded.
· Sat. morning- after your inspection, go to your assigned cabin/ward and help them get cleaned and inspected!!
· Sat.- Help Stake or Kitchen get loaded and mopped. The faster this gets done, the faster we can all leave!
