11 year old Girls Day Camp

At Camp Esther Apple-Gate

Thurs. July 25^th, 2013, 9am-4:30pm

Who is invited to come? 

Any girl who will be 11 years old before Sept. 1, 2013. 

Ask Primary Presidency for a list of eligible girls.

Items to bring:

·         11 year old girls will need a signed permission slip from their parent/guardian.

·         Tote bag/backpack

·         Water bottle

·         Modest Swimsuit (one-piece or tankini that does NOT show tummy when arms are lifted above head.)

·         Cover-up (Long T-shirt and shorts work just fine.)

·         Towel

Schedule:

9:00am-                        Arrive at Camp Esther Applegate

YCLs will Greet the girls!

9:30am-                        YCLs teach camp rules

10:00am-                       4^th years take girls on a tour through camp (“nature hike”)

·         Kitchen

·         Bathrooms

·         Cabins

·         Craft Cabin

·         Personal Progress Tent

·         Archery

·         Lake (rules)

·         Nurse

·         Mess Hall

11:00am-                       YCLs teach girls camp songs, play games, certification

12:00pm-                      YCLs eat lunch with girls

2:00-4:00pm-                 Free Time!!!

·         Crafts

·         Archery

·         Swim

·         Personal Progress Tent

4:30pm-                        YCLs help girls find their ride home…Good-bye! See ya next  year!!
